Abstract
The invention concerns a hydrocarbon conversion composite consisting of a combination of an acid-free zeolite, catalytically effective amounts of a group VIII metal component and a silica support matrix obtained by gelatinization of an alkali metal silicate sol at high pH. The new composite is especially useable as a dehydrocyclization catalyst for conversion of paraffins to aromatic compounds.
