1. Förfarande för framställning av antibakteriella 6-alfa-hydroxietyl-2-substituerad-2-penem-3-karboxylsyror 5 med formeln H X H Λ_Pv-S'R H,C

Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att R^ är väte och R är 3-tietanyl, l-oxo-3-tietanyl, 1,l-dioxo-3-tietanyl, 3-tiolanyl, 1- 30 oxo-3-tiolanyl, l-l-dioxo-3-tiolanyl, 3-hydroxi-4-tiola-nyl, l-oxo-3-hydroxi-4-tiolanyl,1,l-dioxo-3-hydroksi-4-tiolanyl, 3-tianyl, l-oxo-3-tianyl, 1,l-dioxo-3-tianyl, 4- tianyl, l-oxo-4-tianyl, 1,l-dioxo-4-tianyl, eller 2-oxo-1,3-d: *-.iolan-4-ylmetyl. 35 3.
