The invention relates to a faucet corner box intended for housing and connection protection when connecting plastic pipes of a pressurized water connection 5 to metal fittings, with which box the connection assembly can be firmly attached to building components and which includes a housing part, a threaded sleeve part and a protective pipe connection.

10 The faucet corner box also makes it possible to firmly fasten said joint assembly to the structures of the buildings. The box allows the corner piece of the water connection to be firmly attached to the base. A protective tube is connected to the box and a new plastic water tube can be inserted through the box into the protective tube and guided by the protective tube 15 to the desired destination.

There are no possibilities for adjusting the position of the inner rupture point of the pipe 20, which are generally available on the market and are used for connecting plastic pipes, e.g. to metal-made corner pieces. For example, in Finnish and Swedish-made faucet corner boxes, the inlet opening of the plastic pipe is fixed to the body part of the box. In this case, it is often difficult to attach the protective pipe to the structures in the vicinity of the tap corner box.

The object of the invention is to provide a new type of faucet corner box which eliminates the disadvantage observed above. The characteristic features of the invention are set out in the appended claim.

In the tap corner box which is the subject of the application, the inlet opening is placed in an eccentric connector sleeve part, from which the position of the inlet opening of the protective tube can be set by rotation. This facilitates the attachment of the protective tube to the other structures of the building already in the immediate vicinity of the box frame. The proximal attachment point significantly reduces pressure shocks to the plastic pipe and the metal connection part, e.g. when closing the water pipe.

In the following, the invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawing.

Fig. 1 schematically shows a faucet corner box. Fig. 2 shows a vertical view of a faucet corner box.

Figures 1 and 2 do not show the corner piece of the water connection, which is inserted inside the housing part (2) of the box. Once the water connection has been made, the housing part (2) of the box is closed by a threaded sleeve part 10 (3), which also secures the corner piece of the water connection in place.

According to Fig. 1, the faucet corner box can be used in wall installations of plumbing fixtures, whereby the installation distance of the protective pipe with respect to the wall can be adjusted with the rotatable hose connector part (1).

The pre-assembled protective pipe through which the plastic water pipe is installed is connected to the hose connector part (1).

20 A new application for the tap corner box is the connection of water radiators and convectors to pipes (protective pipes) using a tap corner box. The connecting pipes can be adjusted in place by means of the rotating hose connection part (1). In this case, the connection is through the wall and thus the floor is left free.
