Abstract
Keksintö koskee menetelmää polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaista käsittävän päällystekerroksen aikaansaamiseksi sellaisen paperin pintaan, joka soveltuu käytettäväksi irrokepaperin tukikerroksena. Menetelmässä järjestetään saataville paperi, jolla on ensimmäinen puoli ja toinen puoli, muodostetaan ensimmäinen päällystekerros, ja muodostetaan toinen päällystekerros levittämällä ensimmäisen päällystekerroksen päälle toinen päällyste. Toisen päällysteen levittämiseen ja/tai määrän säätelyyn käytetään kosketuselementtiä, kuten levitystelaa, tai annosteluelementtiä. Toinen päällyste käsittää vesiliuosta, jonka lämpötila on alle 90°C ja joka vesiliuos sisältää polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaista, jonka polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaisen hydrolyysiaste on 60–100 % ja joka polyvinyylialkoholijohdannainen sisältää ketjuun kiinnittyneitä vinyyliryhmiä. Toisen päällystekerroksen päällystepaino on 3–200 mg/m2 polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaisen kuivapainosta mitattuna. Keksintö koskee lisäksi irrokekerroksen tukikerrosta.
Claims (16)
1. Menetelmä polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaista käsittävän päällystekerrok- sen aikaansaamiseksi sellaisen paperin pintaan, joka soveltuu käytet- täväksi irrokepaperin tukikerroksena, jossa menetelmässä: - järjestetään saataville paperi, jolla on ensimmäinen puoli ja toinen puoli, - muodostetaan ensimmäinen päällystekerros levittämällä kuivan pape- rin ensimmäiselle puolelle ensimmäinen päällyste siten, että saadaan ensimmäinen päällystekerros, jolla ensimmäisellä päällystekerroksella on päällystepaino välillä 0,6—5 g/m?, edullisesti välillä 1-3 g/m?, ensim- mäisen päällystekerroksen kuivapainosta mitattuna, - muodostetaan toinen päällystekerros levittämällä ensimmäisen päällys- tekerroksen päälle toinen päällyste siten, että saadaan toinen päällys- tekerros, jolloin toisen päällysteen lämpötila on alle 90*C, kun toinen päällyste levitetään ensimmäisen päällystekerroksen päälle, ja toisen päällysteen levittämiseen ja/tai määrän säätelyyn käytetään kosketuselementtiä, kuten levitystelaa, tai annosteluelementtiä, jolloin toinen päällyste on vesiliuos, joka sisältää polyvinyylialkoholi- johdannaista, jolla polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaisella - on hydrolyysiaste välillä 60-100 % ja - joka polyvinyylialkoholijohdannainen sisältää ketjuun kiinnittyneitä vinyyliryhmiä, jotka ovat osa sellaisia ketjutettuja hiilirakenteita, jotka sisältävät vähintään 4 hiiliatomia, edullisesti 5—15 hiiliatomia, ja jotka rakenteet ovat liittyneet polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaiseen N kovalenttisilla sidoksilla, N toisella päällystekerroksella on päällystepaino välillä 3 mg/m? — 100 2 mg/m? polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaisen kuivapainona mitattuna. 3 = 30
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen menetelmä, jossa ensimmäinen pääl- so lystekerros käsittää S - polyvinyylialkoholia (PVA) ja/tai S < — tärkkelystä ja/tai N - karboksimetyyliselluloosaa (CMC) ja/tai - etyleeni-vinyylialkoholikopolymeeriä (EVOH).
3. Jonkin edellisen patenttivaatimuksen mukainen menetelmä, jossa toi- sen päällysteen lämpötila on — yhtä suuri tai pienempi kuin 80°C, edullisesti yhtä suuri tai pie- nempi kuin 75*C, ja/tai — yhtä suuri tai suurempi kuin 25°C, kun toista päällystettä levitetään ensimmäisen päällystekerroksen pin- taan.
4. Jonkin edellisen patenttivaatimuksen mukainen menetelmä, jossa lisäksi: - kuivataan saatu ensimmäinen päällystekerros ennen toisen pääl- lysteen levittämistä ensimmäisen päällystekerroksen pintaan.
5. Jonkin edellisen patenttivaatimuksen 1-4 mukainen menetelmä, jossa kosketuselementti käsittää levitystelan ja toinen päällyste levitetään ensin levitystelaan ja siirretään sen jälkeen ensimmäisen päällyste- kerroksen pintaan.
6. Jonkin edellisen patenttivaatimuksen 1-4 mukainen menetelmä, jossa kosketuselementti käsittää kaavinterän.
7. Jonkin edellisen patenttivaatimuksen 1-4 mukainen menetelmä, jossa kosketuselementti käsittää sauvan.
8. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-4 mukainen menetelmä, jossa kosketus- N elementti käsittää telan ja toinen päällyste levitetään ensimmäisen pääl- N lystekerroksen pintaan altaan kautta, minkä jälkeen paperi johdetaan 2 telan käsittävän telanipin läpi. 3 = 30 9. Jonkin edellisen patenttivaatimuksen mukainen menetelmä, jossa poly- so vinyylialkoholijohdannainen on saatu S - asetalisoimalla vesipohjaisessa liuottimessa tai S - esteröimällä orgaanisessa liuottimessa tai - esteröimällä reaktiivisen ekstruusion avulla ilman liuotinta sulassa olomuodossa,
edullisesti mainitulla esteröinnillä reaktiivisen ekstruusion avulla ilman liuo- tinta sulassa olomuodossa.
10. Jonkin edellisen patenttivaatimuksen mukainen menetelmä, jossa - vesiliuoksessa olevan mainitun polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaisen kiintoainepitoisuus on välillä 0,05—7 %, edullisesti 0,10-5 %, ja/tai - vesiliuos levitetään ensimmäisen päällystekerroksen pintaan vaah- don muodossa.
11. Irrokepaperin tukikerros, joka tukikerros käsittää paperin, jolla on ensimmäinen puoli ja toinen puoli, joka tukikerros käsittää lisäksi: - paperin ensimmäisellä pinnalla olevan ensimmäisen päällystekerrok- sen, - ensimmäisen päällystekerroksen pinnalla olevan toisen päällyste- kerroksen, joka toinen päällystekerros sisältää polyvinyylialkoholi- johdannaista, jolla on hydrolyysiaste alueella 60-100 %, ja joka poly- vinyylialkoholijohdannainen sisältää ketjuun kiinnittyneitä vinyyliryhmiä, e jotka ovat osa ketjutettuja hiilirakenteita, jotka sisältävät vähin- tään 4 hiiliatomia, edullisesti 5—15 hiiliatomia, ja e jotka ovat liittyneet polyvinyylialkoholiin kovalenttisilla sidoksilla, jolloin - ensimmäisellä päällystekerroksella on päällystepaino välillä 0,6— 5 g/m?, päällysteen kuivapainosta mitattuna, ja - toisella päällystekerroksella on päällystepaino välillä 3-100 mg/m? N polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaisen kuivapainosta mitattuna.

Patenttivaatimuksen 11 mukainen tukikerros tai jonkin patenttivaati- 2 muksen 1-10 mukainen menetelmä, jossa toisella päällystekerroksella = 30 on vinyyliryhmän molaalisuus (bvin) välillä 0,05—2,00, edullisesti 0,10— so 1,00, edullisimmin 0,15—0,80 mmol/g kuivaa polyvinyylialkoholia. 2 < 13. Patenttivaatimuksen 11 tai 12 mukainen tukikerros tai jonkin patentti- vaatimuksen 1-10 mukainen menetelmä, jossa ensimmäisellä ja toi- sella päällystekerroksella on kokonaisvinyyliryhmän molaalisuus (bvin)
välillä 0,00005-0,33 mmol/g, edullisesti 0,0001-0,17 mmol/g, edulli- simmin 0,00015—0,013 mmol/g kuivaa päällystekerrosta.
14. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 11-13 mukainen tukikerros tai jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-10 mukainen menetelmä, jossa ensimmäisellä päällystekerroksella on — vinyyliryhmän molaalisuus — (bvin) alle 0,00005 mmol/g kuivaa päällystekerrosta.
15. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 11-14 mukainen tukikerros tai jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-10 mukainen menetelmä, jossa - paperin neliömassa on 38-80 g/m? ja/tai - paperin pinnassa olevien päällysteiden kokonaisneliömassa on 0,65—5,20 g/m2.
16. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 11-15 mukainen tukikerros tai jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-10 mukainen menetelmä, jossa paperin pin- nassa olevan polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaisen neliöpaino on - vähintään 5 mg/m?, edullisesti vähintään 10 mg/m, ja/tai - yhtä suuri tai pienempi kuin 60 mg/m? polyvinyylialkoholijohdannaisen kuivapainosta laskettuna.
