Claims (7)

1. En ny polysackarid, kännetecknad av att den omfattar med (l->4)-bindningar förenade α-D-glukos-5 enheter, och som uppvisar följande formel: ch2oh ch2oh 1U OR OR väri R är en väteatom eller en acetylgrupp i ett förhällande pi cirka 7:3 i nämnda polysackarid, som har 15 följande egenskaper: (1) karaktär: vitt amorft pulver, utan smak eller doft, (2) löslighet: olöslig i alkohol, aceton, hexan, benzen, etylacetat, tetraklormetan, kloroform och eter, och löslig i vatten, formamid och dimetylsulfoxid. 20 (3) pH av vattenlösning: neutral, (4) sockerkomponent: endast glukos, (5) molekylvikt: 500 - 10.000, (6) specifik optisk vridning: [a]o(24 °C) = +112° - +116°, ·.· : (7) färgreaktion: positiv antron-svavelsyrareaktion, ,,]·* 25 fenol-svavelsyrareaktion och kromotropisk syra-svavelsyra- reaktion, och negativ biuretreaktion, Lowry-Folin- reaktion, Elson-Morgan-reaktion och jodreaktion, (8) smältpunkt: uppvisar ingen tydlig smältpunkt, .·. : (9) IR-spektrum: absorption specifik för acetylgrupper, • * * .···. 30 och "* (10) 13C-NMR-spektrum: uppvisar signaler, som är ·.*.* karakteristiska för a-l,4-glukan och acetylgrupper. * I • · • * · » * · 1103?/· 16
2. Polysackarid enligt patentkrav 1, kanne- tecknad av att den extraheras och isoleras frän ett odlingsmedium, där en mikro-organism tillhörande släktet Basidiomycetes odlas i närvaro av växtcellvävnad som 5 rämaterial.
3. Polysackarid enligt patentkrav 2, kanne- tecknad av att den nämnda växtcellvävnaden bestär av en eller flera växtfibrer valda ur gruppen omfattande 10 kli, rissträ, riskli, bagass, sägspän och sojabönsrester.
4. Förfarande för framställning av en polysackarid, kännetecknat av att förfarandet omfattar följande steg: 15 en mikro-organism tillhörande släktet Basidiomycetes odlas i ett flytande odlingsmedium da växtcellvävnad används som rämaterial, och en polysackarid enligt patentkrav 1 extraheras och isoleras. 20
