Abstract

The hand grip is provided with a hand strap (1) that has an adjustable strap section (2) for encircling the back of the hand. The hand strap is connected to the hand grip (15) by straps (3,4). The hand grip has a cavity (11) that closed by a removable cover (10). The straps (3,4) are attached by means of a recesses (8) in the side wall of the cavity (11) and a fastening loop (7) connected to the straps. The cover (10) closes the top ends of the recesses. A control strap (5) is attached adjacent to the back of the hand and is in the shape of a loop that extends around a rod (9). The control strap has a self adhesive section (17) . A spigot (13) projects from the cover into the cavity and is provided with a clamping lug (14) that engages locking hole (16).

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a ski handle, which is provided with a hand strap having a strap portion surrounding the back of the hand which engages with the handle from here on to the palm side drive belts and a lower back control handle having fasteners and transmission belt fasteners.

10 These types of ski pole handles are known in the prior art from the applicant, examples of which are patent applications FI-19992525 and FI-20010126. In these known solutions, the fastening means between the hand strap and the handle are implemented in such a way that the attachment of the hand strap to the handle has to be done slowly and cumbersome by special tools. The handle and hand strap combination according to the invention is also easily adaptable to different size hands. The strap portion 2 around the palm backs is provided with length adjustment. In the case shown, this is accomplished by extending the strap portion 2 through the buckle 19 as a Velcro strap which can be attached to a desired length adjustment position on the surface of the strap portion 2. With regard to the control strap 5 20, the adjustability is realized by the fact that the control strap 5 is formed as: a loop guided around the pin-like fastening member 9, the length of the strap loop 5 being adjustable. To this end, the end of the belt forming the control belt loop 5 is provided with a velcro fastening portion 17 which can be secured to an optional position on the outer surface of the belt portion 2.
