COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, UNA DISPERSION CARGADA CON AIRE SE INTRODUCE COMO CORRIENTE PRIMARIA EN UNA CELDA DE FLOTACION; SEGUNDA, LA ESPUMA FORMADA EN LA SUPERFICIE DE LA DISPERSION SE RETIRA JUNTO CON LAS IMPUREZAS QUE SE ENCUENTRAN DENTRO DE ELLA; Y POR ULTIMO, LA DISPERSION LIMPIADA SE EXTRAE DE LA ZONA DEL FONDO DE LA CELDA DE FLOTACION, SE CARGA NUEVAMENTE DE AIRE Y SE ALIMENTA A LA CELDA DE FLOTACION COMO CORRIENTE SECUNDARIA, EN UN LUGAR DE INTRODUCCION SITUADO A OTRO NIVEL RESPECTO A LA PRIMERA INTRODUCCION.
