CONSISTE EN: A) ANALIZAR EL AGUA QUE HA DE INTRODUCIRSE EN EL SISTEMA PARA DETERMINAR SU POTENCIAL FORMADOR DE INCRUSTACIONES MIDIENDO LA CONCENTRACION DE SALES DE DUREZA; B) ADICIONAR AL AGUA ANTES DE ENTRAR EN LA CALDERA UN COPOLIMERO QUE POSEE UNIDADES RECURRENTES DE FORMULA (I) Y DE FORMULA (II) EN DONDE Z REPRESENTA -SO3H O CH2SO3H O UNA SAL RESPECTIVA ACUOSOLUBLE Y DEJAR QUE SE MEZCLE EL COPOLIMERO EN AGUA DE MODO QUE LAS SALES DE DUREZA SE PRECIPITEN AL ENTRAR EL AGUA EN LA CALDERA; Y C) SEPARAR DE FORMA CONTINUA O INTERMITENTE PARTE DEL AGUA DEL SISTEMA Y ADICIONAR UNA CANTIDAD CORRESPONDIENTE DE AGUA NUEVA. EL COPOLIMERO ES UN COPOLIMERO DE ACIDO MALEICO Y ACIDO ALILSULFONICO QUE CONTIENE DE 25 A 75 MOL% DE FRACCIONES DE SULFONATO Y DE 75 A 25% DE FRACCIONES DE CARBOXILATO.
