Abstract
A central buffer coupling, particularly for rail vehicles, comprises a coupling rod (11) universally articulated to a kingpin (13) in a hinge housing (14) and a push and pull device (12) provided in the coupling rod. A support (15) is rotatably arranged on the kingpin (13), which is prolonged downwardly beyond the hinge housing (14). Arranged between the support (15) and either the coupling rod (11) or a housing of the device (12) is at least one spring (17) which extends obliquely upwardly and forwardly, and at least one spring-loaded roller (20) is arranged with vertical axis and bears against the rim of a control disc (21) for the horizontal central resetting.
