Abstract

The machine has a pair of rotating drums (3 and 4) which are equipped with blades (5) for cutting the grass and which convey the grass between two horizontal intermeshing toothed rollers (8 and 9). The rollers (8 and 9) consist of hard rubber, and their profile is such that the grass stalks are broken, so that a rapid and uniform drying of the grass on the field becomes possible.
