UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE NUEVOS DERIVADOS DE DESOXIURIDINA. SE HACE REACCIONAR EL COMPUESTO (II) CON UN HALURO DE METILO CH<3X, DONDE X ES UN ATOMO DE HALOGENO. SE OBTIENE EL COMPUESTO (I) QUE OPCIONALMENTE PUEDE ESTERIFICARSE. Y ES UN ATOMO DE HALOGENO TAL COMO BROMO. EL TRATAMIENTO CON EL HALURO DE METILO, SE LLEVA A CABO EN UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO POLAR, EN PRESENCIA DE UNA CANTIDAD CATALITICA DE IONES FLUOR. LA ESTERIFICACION SE LLEVA A CABO POR ACILACION.
