Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE AGUAS RESIDUALES CON UN SISTEMA DE LODO ACTIVADO. CONSISTE EN MEZCLAR BIOMASA ACTIVADA CON UNA CORRIENTE DE ENTRADA DE AGUA RESIDUAL EN UNA ZONA DE ADSORCION DE DBO, EN CONDICIONES TALES QUE SE OXIDA POR EL OXIGENO U OTROS AGENTES OXIDANTES MENOS QUE EL 5% DE LA DBO Y NO MENOS QUE 25% DE LA DBO SOLUBLE SE ABSORBE POR LA BIOMASA; OXIDAR LA DBO CONTENIDA EN EL LIQUIDO MEZCLADO, EN UNA ZONA DE OXIDACION, CON INCLUSION DE AL MENOS UNA PARTE DE LA DBO ABSORBIDA EN LA BIOMASA, DE MODO QUE SE OXIDA AL MENOS 30% DE LA DBO TOTAL DE LA CORRIENTE DE ENTRADA; SEDIMENTAR EL LIQUIDO OXIDADO; Y RECICULAR AL MENOS UNA PARTE DEL LODO MAS DENSO PARA PROPORCIONAR BIOMASA ACTIVADA.
