Abstract

The voltage controller has its switches located in a casing resembling a transistor casing, and forming a unit with the generator's brush holder. Conducting rails (25-29) are provided to connect the connections of the controller to the corresponding connections of the carbon brushes (21) and the lines. The conducting rails are located on the outside on the brush holder (19). The conducting rails are made of steel or brass and are welded or soldered to their respective connections. A metal socket fits into an eyelet tag (15) projecting from the plate (13) of which the brush holder is part. The socket has the same height as the eyelet.
