Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO DE REDUCCION DE MINERAL DE HIERRO A HIERRO ESPONJA. LA REDUCCION SE EFECTUA EN UN REACTOR DE LECHO MOVIL DE CUBA VERTICAL, POR CUYA PARTE SUPERIOR SE HACE CIRCULAR EL GAS REDUCTOR CALIENTE. EN LA PARTE INFERIOR TIENE UNA ZONA DE ENFRIAMIENTO QUE ACTUA ALIMENTANDO UN GAS DE ENFRIAMIENTO CONTENIENDO CARBONO. EL GAS DE ENFRIAMIENTO SE EXTRAE, SE ENFRIA Y SE RECIRCULA. A ESTE CIRCUITO DE GAS SE AÑADE UN GAS DE REPUESTO QUE CONTIENE UN HIDROCARBURO GASEOSO, Y SE AÑADE VAPOR DE AGUA AL CIRCUITO DE FORMA QUE EL HIDROCARBURO Y EL VAPOR DE AGUA REACCIONEN PARA FORMAR MONOXIDO DE CARBONO E HIDROGENO. EL GAS DE REPUESTO CONTIENE HASTA 30 POR 100 EN VOLUMEN DE HIDROCARBURO, EL CUAL ES METANO. EL VAPOR DE AGUA SE AÑADE A LA ZONA DE ENFRIAMIENTO CERCA DEL PUNTO MEDIO DE LA MISMA.
