Abstract
An electrical transducer, which may be a pick-up 10, has a law of transformation between a physical quantity and an electrical quantity, which law is known but affected at the time of construction of the transducer by an unpredictable parameter, which can subsequently be measured. An electrical component such as a resistance R representing a measurement of this unpredictable parameter is fixed to the transducer. The transducer is connected to an electrical processing circuit 12 which is also connected to the electronic component to correct the law of transformation of the transducer so that it is restored to a nominal law. The invention may be applied to measuring fuel flow in a vehicle.
