Abstract

Polymer having tertiary amine oxide groups may be cathodically electrodeposited from aqueous electrode-position baths. The tertiary amine oxide groups may be present in the polymer in an amount in the range of from 0.01 to 0.8 gram-mole of tertiary amine oxide groups per 100 grams of the polymer. The polymer may be an epoxy polymer or an acrylic polymer.
