Abstract
Un procedimiento continuo de recuperación del uranio contenido en un ácido fosfórico impuro, que lleva consigo, en un primer ciclo, el tratamiento del ácido fosfórico impuro por medio de una fase orgánica de extracción para el uranio (VI) pero que extrae poco el uranio (IV), después de la separación de las fases, la extracción en retorno de la fase orgánica resultante cargada de uranio (VI) por medio de una solución acuosa de reextracción del uranio (IV) y que contiene un agente de oxido-reducción en estado substancialmente reducido que es reductor del uranio (VI) a uranio (IV), después la separación de las fases y la recirculación de la fase orgánica agotada en uranio a la extracción del ácido fosfórico impuro, la oxidación de la solución acuosa precedente cargada de uranio (IV) por la que se oxida el uranio (IV) a uranio (VI) y el agente de óxido-reducción, en un segundo ciclo, el tratamiento de la solución acuosa precedente por medio de una segunda fase orgánica de extracción del uranio(VI), después, la separación de las fases, el lavado de la fase orgánica cargada de uranio (VI) por medio de un ácido y/o de agua, después la separación de una fase orgánica agotada de donde se recupera el uranio y la recirculación de la fase orgánica precedente agotada en uranio en la extracción precedente, llegado el caso después de regeneración de su forma extractiva, caracterizado porque comprende, además, un tercer ciclo en el que la solución acuosa resultante de la reextracción del primer ciclo se trata en totalidad en el compartimiento anódico de una célula electrolítica con separador, con tensión de corriente continua, por lo que se recoge una fase acuosa que contiene uranio substancialmente en forma de U (VI) y el agente de óxido-reducción en estado oxidado, llegado el caso de completa la oxidación del uranio por acción de una pequeña cantidad de un agente oxidante, y llegado el caso, se reajusta su título en ácido complejante, después se trata dicha solución acuosa por medio de lafase orgánica de extracción del segundo ciclo, y después de separación de las fases, se trata la solución acuosa resultante, agotada en uranio, en el compartimiento catódico de una célula electrolítica con separador, con tensión de corriente continua, antes de recircularla a la etapa de reextracción del primer ciclo, con lo que la solución acuosa precedente circula en circuito cerrado entre el primero y el segundo ciclos, en forma del tercer ciclo.
