Abstract

A resilient coupling device for a double-twist twisting mechanism with concurrent axes, comprising a centred assembly (1) and an off-centred assembly (2) which fit one into the other and each having fixing members (3,4) positioned in the same direction and distributed alternately about the axis of the device, and at least one pair of connection members disposed symmetrically to give opposing action, each connection member being constituted by the combination of a flexible traction element (6) having a small elongation and a resilient bearing (6) operating under compression and interposed between at least one end of the traction element and the corresponding fixing member.
