Abstract
Método para impedir el agrietamiento por tensocorrosión o la fragilidad metálica de un recipiente de circonio o de aleación de circonio, útil para contener material combustible nuclear con el fin de obtener un elemento de combustible nuclear mejorado, caracterizado porque incluye las operaciones que consisten en: (1) hace más rugosas o atacar químicamente la superficie del recipiente de circonio o de aleación de circonio, (2) oxidar el recipiente resultante de circonio o de aleación de circonio, (3) activar la superficie oxidada de (2) para permitir el revestimiento metálico de esta superficie mediante deposito no electrolítico, y (4) revestir, a su vez, la superficie oxidada y activada del recipiente de circonio o de aleación de circonio (3) con cobre, hierro o níquel, o una aleación de estos metales.
