Abstract
Un procedimiento para preparar una mezcla de gas de síntesis, caracterizado por proporcionar una mezcla gaseosa de alimentación que comprende por lo menos hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono, mantener dicha mezcla de gas de alimentación a una presión superior a la atmosférica, poner en contacto dicha mezcla de gas de alimentación con las superficies externas de una pluralidad de membranas de fibras huecas, semipermeables, selectivamente permeables al hidrógeno a dicha presión superior a la atmosférica, hacer que permee selectivamente una porción del hidrógeno presente en dicha mezcla de gas de alimentación a través de las membranas de fibras huecas y a sus perforaciones, extraer del contacto con dichas superficies externas una corriente de gas de síntesis que no ha permeado con un contenido disminuido de hidrógeno, adecuada por lo menos como una porción de una mezcla de gas de síntesis, extraer de las perforaciones de dichas membranas de fibras huecas una corriente que ha permeado, de contenidode hidrógeno relativamente elevado a una presión inferior y controlar la composición de dicha corriente de gas de síntesis que no ha permeado, ajustando la diferencial de presión entre dicha mezcla gaseosa de alimentación, poniendo en contacto las superficies externas y dicha corriente que ha permeado.
