Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar fibras minerales, sintéticas, resistentes a los ácalis, con la siguiente composición: SiO2: 42-50% en peso. AL2O3:8-13% en peso Oxido de hierro (calculados como FeO): 6-11% en peso CaO: 4-11% en peso MgO 17-22% en peso TiO2: 0,5-3% en peso R2O 0,5-3,5% en peso En donde R es un metal alcalino; caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de mezclar diabasa, cal magnesita, corundum, dióxido de titanio y cuarzo, Fundir la mezcla resultante en un crisol; y convertir la fusión en fibras en una hilera de cascada.
