Abstract
Dispositivos electroquímico que incluye un separador sólido, dispuesto entre un compartimiento negativo y un compartimiento positivo, y un electrolito solido dispuesto en el compartimiento negativo, cuyo dispositivo comprende por lo menos una celda, comportando esta celda, por una parte, al menos un compartimiento negativo, que contiene un medio denominación negativo, constituido por lo menos en parte, por lo menos en parte, por el un metal en estada liquido en las condiciones de funcionamiento del dispositivo y por otra parte, al menos un compartimiento positivo, que contiene un medio denominado positivo, estando separado estos compartimentos negativos y positivos, por una pared solida, denominada separador, susceptible de ser atravesada por iones del metal y conductora de estos iones, durante el funcionamiento del dispositivo electroquímico, caracterizado porque el compartimiento negativo comporta por lo menos un electrolito sólido conductor de estos iones del metal, de manera que: a) elelectrolito sólido separa el compartimento negativo en dos regiones: una región denominada región negativa, que comporta el medio negativo y por lo menos un colector negativo, una región denominada región intermediaria, comprendida entre el separador y el electrolito, de manera que durante el funcionamiento del dispositivo, la transferencia de metal de una a otra de estas regiones queda asegurada por migración iónica a través del electrolito; b) la región intermediaria contiene un medio, denominado medio intermediario, estando constituido este medio por lo menos en parte por el metal en estado líquido y/o por al menos una sal del metal en estado disuelto o fundido; resultando así el dispositivo de la puesta en serie de dos sistemas electroquímicos, constituidos unos de ellos por la cadena: medio negativo/ electrolito sólido/ medio intermediario, y el otro por la cadena: medio intermedio/separador solido/ medio positivo, teniendo estas cadenas en común el medio intermediario.
