Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de una composición de asfalto-resina epóxida caracterizado porque consiste en hacer reaccionar, en el seno de un asfalto caliente, un compuesto epóxido y una amina que contiene dos átomos de hidrógeno activos y un grupo hidrocarburo alifático de 8 a 22 átomos de carbono o un grupo alquilfenilo donde el grupo alquilo es de 8 a 22 átomos de carbono, mediante la adición de una composición que contiene el compuesto epóxido y la amina, al asfalto caliente, para formar una resina epópxida termoplástica que modifica el asfalto mejorando sus propiedades físicas de resistencia frente al ataque de los agentes exteriores.
