Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en acoplamientos de fluido controlado por temperatura para el sistema de refrigeración del radiador de motores de combustión interna, destinados a acoplar el ventilador de refrigeración del radiador de un motor de combustión interna, al motor para hacer girar de este modo el ventilador, siendo el acoplamiento del tipo que comprende, una carcasa que tiene una cámara de transmisión en la cual se sitúa un rotor; una cámara de depósito de líquido zizallante en la carcasa, cuya cámara de depósito se comunica con la cámara de transmisión a través de una válvula regulada por la temperatura, sirviendo la magnitud de apertura de la válvula para determinar el grado de acoplamiento de fluido entre el motor y el ventilador, estableciendo la válvula en una posición un acoplamiento máximo rotatorial; un laminado bimetálico montado en la carcasa y que acciona a la válvula por medio de una válvula alargada; sirviendo el abombamiento del laminado bimetálico en una dirección, debido a los cambios en su temperatura ambiente, para hacer que la válvula se abra, y sirviendo el abombamiento del laminado en la forma opuesta para hacer que se cierre la válvula.
