Abstract
Imidazole derivatives have the following formula < IMAGE > in which X is identical or different and denotes halogen, lower alkyl, nitro or lower haloalkyl, n is 1 or 2 and Y denotes alkoxy lower alkyl, lower alkenyloxyalkyl, lower phenoxyalkyl, substituted lower phenoxyalkyl or benzyl, with the proviso that Xn denotes trifluoromethyl in the 2 position and chlorine in the 4 position when Y represents benzyl. The compounds may be present as complexes of metal salts. A fungicide contains as at least one active component a compound of the formula I.
