Abstract
Un elemento de electrodo bipolar tiene una pared generalmente plana, químicamente inerte, eléctricamente conductora que tiene una primera y una segunda caras opuestas, teniendo cada una de las caras primera y segunda una pluralidad de ranuras paralelas, espaciadas en la misma alternándose las ranuras espaciadas en la primera cara a un lado de las ranuras espaciadas en la segunda cara, primeros y segundos electrodos espaciados y sustancialmente paralelas que tienen los primeros bordes dispuestos dentro de las primeras y segundas ranuras respectivas de dichas ranuras paralelas espaciadas en dicha primera cara y que se extienden generalmente perpendiculares desde el plano de la pared inerte; y un tercer electrodo que tiene un primer borde dispuesto dentro de una ranura en dicha segunda cara y que se extiende generalmente perpendicular desde el plano de la pared inerte. Se obtiene un grupo de baterías colocando una pluralidad de los elementos de batería bipolares de tal forma que sus electrodosse entrelacen.
