Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar un producto de tripolifosfato de sodio granular de baja fragilidad y que tiene una densidad aparente en el intervalo de 0,45 g/cc a 0,59 g/cc, caracterizado por pulverizar agua en una cantidad de 36% a 130% en exceso de la cantidad requerida estequiométricamente para la formulación de tripolifosfato de sodio hexahidratado, sobre el material de alimentación de tripolifosfato de sodio, finalmente dividido que tiene una distribución de tamaño de al menos 70% en peso de menos de 0,149 mm y al menos 95% en peso de 0,297 mm, formar un producto aglomerado, calcinar el producto aglomerado a una tem peratura en el intervalo de 320ºC a 550ºC, y recuperar dicho producto de tripolifosfato de sodio granular.
