Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de tripolifosfato sódico en donde se neutraliza una solución acuosa de ácido fosfórico obtenida con el método húmedo mediante la adición de una solución acuosa de hidróxido sódico, se separan las impurezas precipitadas de la solución de fosfatos sódico, se evapora la solución de fosfato sódico hasta sequedad y se calcina el residuo de evaporación, caracterizado porque dicha solución acuosa de ácido fosfórico se neutraliza a una temperatura que no exceda de 85ºC, se deja madurar el producto de neutralización a una temperatura comprendida entre 70º y 85º durante un periódo de por lo menos una hora antes de separar dichas impurezas precipitadas.
