Abstract

The data-sheet register comprises a housing (10) which has a cover part (11), a base part (21), a number of selection buttons (40 to 42), arranged in a row next to one another and lying one above the other, and a drawer (30) which is under the effect of a pressure spring and can be closed by means of a locking device (150, 156, 157). Accommodated in the drawer is a stack (200) with a number of register cards with selection tongues constructed in their rearward end sections and having openings. The selection buttons (40 to 42) are constructed on pivoted levers (60 to 62) and are composed of square or rectangular plates fastened to the ends of the pivoted levers (60 to 62). Furthermore located at the said ends are U-shaped card retention pins (130) which have a peg (130a) which engages in cutouts in the register card. Provided at each of the pivoted-lever ends for the purpose of guiding the pivoted levers (60 to 62) is a slot-shaped opening into which a cam integrally formed on the inner wall surface of the housing cover part (11) engages. A U-shaped hoop (150) which is articulated to the housing cover part (11) and has a locking cam (156) is used for unlocking the drawer (30). The said hoop is unlatched when a selection button (40 to 42) is actuated, resulting in the drawer (30) extending.
