Abstract
Apparatus for floating sheet materials of the nature of a continuous material comprising means for forming a linear Coanda nozzle extending in a direction transverse to the advance of the continuous material adjacent the surface of said continuous material, said nozzle being oriented relative to the continuous material so that the gas flow induced by said nozzle originates adjacent to the surface of the continuous material that faces said nozzle and is directed on the Coanda surface longitudinally to the direction of travel of the continuous material.
