Procedure for preparing disubstituted benzamides in positions 2 and 5 of the general formula **(See formula)** as well as its addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable organic or mineral acids and its quaternary ammonium salts, being in formula (I) - A, or a low molecular weight mono- or dialcoylamino radical, in which the alcohol groups can be linked forming a cycle with or without nitrogen, oxygen or sulfur, and the nitrogen atom can, when the cycle contains it, be attached to a low molecular weight alcohol group, the rings being thus formed, for example pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, imidazolidinyl, piperazine, morpholino and thiazolidinyl, or a heterocyclic radical of the form **(See formula)** where R is a low molecular weight alcohol radical, or alkenyl, and m an integer of less than 4, and - B is a low molecular weight alcohol radical or an alkenyl radical, and n = lo2; y-X is an amino, mono- or dialcoylamino radical, alcoholic or alkenyl, whose process consists of starting from a benzoic acid disubstituted in positions 2 and 5, of the formula **(See formula)** where B and X have the same meanings as above, and make it react with an amine of formula H2N (CH2) nA (III) where A has the same meaning as above, in the presence of phosphoric anhydride, to obtain the desired benzamide of formula (I).
