Abstract
Improvements introduced in the object of the main patent number 402,080, filed on April 25, 1972, for: Improvements in tap-stopper assemblies for the control of fluid flow, of the type that comprise a fluid regulating tap to control the flow of the same and a stopper to open and dine a waste water discharge mouth, the tap and the stopper being functionally connected by means of a torsion device that extends from the tap to the waste water discharge mouth, so that the Rotation of said device moves the stopper to open or close the waste water discharge mouth, and a tubular guide that extends from the tap, which houses a part of the torsion device that is adjacent to the tap and allows the rotation of said part inside the guide, characterized in that the tap comprises a chamber that houses a mechanism for actuating the torsion device, said mechanism comprising a thermo element end that fixedly receives one end of the torsion device, the terminal element being rotatably mounted and supported by a support element of the mechanism that extends inside said chamber, the support element preventing the movement of the terminal element in at least one direction axially of the torsion device, and a manually operable lever or button that projects from the tap, to effect the rotation of the terminal element and, with it, of the torsion device.
