Abstract
Procedure for obtaining iron catalysts, for the synthesis of acrylonitrile, by reacting propylene with ammonia and molecular oxygen, or air, in the presence of a supported catalyst, based on bismuth, molybdenum, iron and phosphorus, containing the finished catalysts 6 to 26% by weight of bismuth, 2 to 20% by weight of molybdenum, 0.5 to 10% by weight of iron and, optionally, 0.1 to 1% by weight of phosphorus and the specific surface area of catalysts at 4-50 m2/g; characterized in that a bismuth/phosphorous molybdenum catalyst is impregnated on silica gel with an aqueous solution of iron salts and then dried and calcined for 0.3 to 7 hours at 500 to 750ºC .
