Refinements in decoders for SECAM television receivers whereby modulations of frequency of incoming alternate lines for each color have to be demodulated, where the color information of successive lines are simultaneously available through the use of a delay memory and a SECAM switch switch operating at half the frequency of the image line, characterized in that said decoders comprise a device that also works at the half-line frequency to tune a single frequency discriminator for a component of time constant in it, the delay memory and the SECAM switch after the discriminator to separate the demodulated color signals that appear in sequence and alternately at its output.
