Abstract

A process for the manufacture of a corrosion inhibiting composition, characterized in that a proportion preferably between 5 to 75% by weight is combined with respect to the final combination of a metal ion sequestering water-soluble agent or a sequestering composition, of which at least one of them forms a copper chelate having a logarithmic stability constant greater than 10, and preferably from 0.01 to 5% by weight of a corrosion inhibitor, composed of a substituted benzotriazole compound of the formula ** (See formula) ** in which R is an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, the benzene ring of the benzotriazole molecule being unsubstituted or substituted with one or two groups that do not have metal sequestering properties and optionally a preferred proportion between 10 and 30% by weight with respect to the final combination of an anionic surfactant and optionally subsequent additives, such as a builder, a bleaching agent, an impurity suspending agent, a filler, a brightening agent optical, one on top or perfume.
