Abstract

A manipulation circuit for programmed frequency selection in radio and television apparatus in which the tuning voltages or currents can be switched for the preselected frequencies by means of a variable resistance, particularly for the adjustment of radio and television apparatus, characterized by the combination of the following known circuit arrangements. a) Together with an electronic switch, particularly a bistable multivibrator, a switchable semiconductor or a relay, the variable resistance determining the preselected tuning voltage or the preselected tuning current form the switchable branch of a voltage or current divider. b) All switchable branches have a common drop resistance in which the switchable tuning voltage appears, or a common load circuit in which the switchable tuning current circulates, or each of the cursors of the variable resistors is connected to a common point through a diode. c) The current given in one switchable branch causes all other parallel branches to be without current.
