Abstract

Pneumatic drive circuit for the thread cutting devices of a sewing machine provided with means for stopping with the needle located selectively down or up and comprising an electric drive motor and a clutch lever and disengagement of the machine with said motor, characterized in that a pneumatic control device (23), mechanically connected to the clutch lever and disengagement (12), is connected on the one hand with a pneumatic supply line (29) and on the other hand with a control device of the positioning of the needle (36) and with an auxiliary lung (47), in turn connected to a single-acting valve (45) by means of a distributor box (49) actuated by the control device (36); the pneumatic control device (23) is provided for charging the auxiliary lung (47) with compressed air during the operation of the machine and for actuating the control device (36) with the machine stopped and the needle positioned high; the control device (36) is provided for actuating the distributor box (49), to allow the passage of the compressed air from the auxiliary lung (47) to the single-effect valve (45); the auxiliary lung is provided for storing an amount of compressed air sufficient to trigger the single-effect valve (45) one time for each sewing operation; and the latter is intended to drive the thread cutters of the machine.
