Abstract
A supporting frame 2 for wall panels 15, 15' defines a substantially rectangular opening through which a wall panel is lowered vertically in a clearance fit. The supporting frame is embedded into a concrete floor 1 and has upper flanges 3 on opposite sides slotted to adjustably mount brackets 7 projecting into the frame opening. A wall block frame 12 seats on the brackets 7 is filled with concrete 17, into which pipes 19 are embedded. Wall panels are then lowered onto the concrete filler 17 from the floor above and one supported in the frame by the brackets 7. The top of a panel 15' is held in the frame 2 by sealing plates 10 or in the case of an outer wall panel by sealing brackets (10"), Fig. 4 (not shown) with a resilient layer 22, (22') fixed to a lower flange 4 and a channel member 5. The gap between the panel and the wall block frame 12 is sealed with a member 21. The inside of the frame 2 and the outside of. the frame 12, are finished with a layer 23 of coarse grained sand and polyester adhesive. A cornice 24 is fixed to the upper junction of the panel and ceiling by clipping over a ball headed screw 25. A floor surface layer 26 is layed over the concrete and frame structure.
