Abstract

A printing ink concentrate comprises an aqueous resin emulsion, a colouring agent and from 20 to 50% of a volatile organic solvent for the colouring agent. The resin is preferably polyvinyl acetate, an acrylic resin, acrylic/vinyl copolymer, natural or synthetic rubber. The solvent is preferably an aliphatic acetate. An ink may be formed by mixing the concentrate with 20-50% by weight of water.
