A boat loading davit arrangement, comprising two pivoting davits to maneuver a pair of hatches longitudinally disposed to the ship on opposite sides of a mast thereof, said davits being connected to said mast so that they pivot in both vertical and horizontal planes about horizontal and vertical axes, respectively, the vertical axes having an eccentric position relative to the axis of the mast and the load davits being designed to pivot around their respective vertical axes at an angle of at least 180º to form sectors of pivoting, each loading davit being mounted so that one of two outer ends of its pivoting sector is approximately in the longitudinal median line of the ship above a hatch and said sector extending beyond said middle line by the other hatch.
