Abstract

Fresa anular, que tiene un cuerpo dotado de una pared lateral substancialmente cilíndrica, teniendo dicha pared lateral una pluralidad de dientes espaciados circunferencialmente alrededor de su extremo inferior y una pluralidad de canales espirales alrededor de su periferia exterior que se extiende hacia arriba desde entre dos dientes sucesivos, teniendo cada diente al menos un filo cortante que se extiende radialmente, existiendo gargantas que se extienden radialmente hacia fuera desde la periferia interior de la pared lateral a dichos canales entre dientes sucesivos para facilitar la descarga de virutas arrancadas por dichos filos cortantes radialmente hacia fuera hacia arriba en dichos canales, teniendo cada garganta;una cara posterior que se extiende radialmente y que se extiende hacia arriba de la parte radialmente hacia dentro de cada filo, caracterizada porque la periferia interior de cada diente está aliviada en una dirección radialmente hacia fuera para proporcionar una holgura radial que se extiende circunferencialmente ente la periferia interior del diente y el alma central labrada en la pieza de trabajo por la fresa, extendiéndose dicha holgura hacia atrás desde una línea que se extiende de, forma substancialmente vertical separada hacia atrás de la línea de intersección de dicha periferia interior y la cara posterior de cada garganta y una distancia no superior que aproximadamente 0, 040 pulgada (1, 016 mm).
