Abstract

Baking oven having a door seal (1) which comprises a continuously extruded seal profile (1) made from heat-resistant elastomeric material, in particular silicone rubber, which profile surrounds the region of the loading opening on at least three sides and has a projecting seal lip (3) and a hollow portion (5) extending in the foot region (2) having a widened shape, flat quadrant-shaped anchorage elements (10) having a bar-like extension (14) projecting radially inwards and placed centrally are inserted into the hollow portion (5) in the region of the corners of the baking oven door (16) or of the muffle frame, and are releasably hooked by means of this extension (14) into corresponding openings (15) in the door (16) or in the muffle frame, characterised in that the seal profile (1) has a slit (6) directed downwards at an angle along the entire length of its underside approximately in the centre of the hollow portion (5) corresponding to the cross-section of the anchorage element (10), in that the anchorage element (10) comprises a flat, quadrantshaped sheet strip (11) having a bar-like extension (14) bent downwards at an angle over its entire length and starting centrally from a rear cut (13), and in that the anchorage element (10) is inserted into the hollow portion (5) by means of the slit (6) in such a way that the anchorage element (10) is surrounded by the seal profile material (18, 19) on its underside along both longitudinal edges, and the extension (14) projects outwards through the slit (6).
