Abstract
A caliper of the disc brake is axially displaceable relative to a carrier, a bolt (6) being guided in a bore (4) of the caliper or the carrier and provided with a resilient guide element (8) seated in the bore. For the purpose of defining the radial movements of the bolt within the bore a stop element (28) is provided. In order to avoid contact between the stop element (28) and the guide bolt (6), the stop element (28) is integrated into the resilient guide element. As shown, stop element (28) is a metal ring in an annular groove (26) in a recess (24) on the outer periphery of element (8), and the outer diameter of stop element (28) over that of bore (4) is smaller by twice as much as the permitted deformation of guide element (8).
