Improvements in pumps, characterized by comprising a pump body, which provides a container of fluid inside; an inlet passage to the fluid container; an exit passage in the pump body; a cylinder block mounted inside the fluid container; a series of block cylinder chambers; a piston in each chamber; drive means in the pump body, to communicate reciprocating movement to the pistons, between anterior and posterior positions; means connecting each of the cylinder chambers to the exit passage; an inlet passage for each cylinder chamber of the block and, furthermore, by first and second control means being arranged, those dependent on the fluid pressure in the outlet passage, to move the cylinder block in order to reduce the effective volume of pump output at a predetermined level, lower than the maximum when the outlet pressure exceeds a first pressure level; the second control means, independent of the first, is linked with a second level of the fluid pressure in the outlet passage, higher than the first mentioned pressure level, to move the cylinder block in order to reduce the output spherical volume of the pump, to prevent the maximum outlet pressure from exceeding the second pressure level.
