Abstract

Un dispositivo para la fabricación de alfombras de hilos de gran longitud de fibras de vidrio o fibras similares, caracterizado porque comprende una superficie movible sustancialmente horizontal y determinado número de boquillas horizontales, que pueden formar un cierto ángulo con el plano horizontal, y en las cuales se producen simultáneamente corrientes de gas, que transportan hilos del material fibroso a través de las boquillas y posteriormente a la superficie movible la cual recoge los hilos mientras se confecciona la alfombre. El dispositivo está provisto de pantallas plegadas (10 a-g) dispuestas de manera tal que cada boquilla (4ª-g) está provista de una pantalla paralela a la dirección de su eje y extendiéndose hasta la parte exterior del orificio de salida de la boquilla; las citadas pantallas tienen paredes laterales (19 a-g) que se extienden en dirección intermedia hacia la boquilla y boquillas adyacentes y una abertura (20 a-g) que se extiende a lo largo de uno de los lados de laboquilla.
