Abstract

Un dispositivo de acoplamiento para tubos del tipo en el cual la estanqueidad es asegurada bajo el efecto de la presión del fluido por una junta circular de doble labio, al paso que los dos elementos, respectivamente macho y hembra, son mantenidos mecánicamente acoplados por un resorte tórico, caracterizado porque dicho resorte tórico está abierto, estando uno de sus extremos fijado al collarín del elemento hembra, mientras que unos medios permiten desplazar el otro extremo entre una posición correspondiente a un diámetro máximo, es decir, a una tensión mínima y otra posición correspondiente a un diámetro mínimo y una tensión máxima, asegurando esta última posición un enclavamiento mecánico de los dos elementos entre sí durante el tiempo en que no circula en el conducto fluido a presión.
