Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en reactores nucleares, caracterizados por comprender una estructura de núcleo reactor generalmente de forma cilíndrica; un recipiente de presión que encierra el núcleo reactor y límite un anillo de sección en general en forma de ¿D¿ con los costados del núcleo reactor; medios que limitan aberturas en las paredes del recipiente de presión en la región del anillo; conductos para la circulación del refrigerante prolongados radialmente desde dichas aberturas, y pantallas dispuestas entre las aberturas y el núcleo reactor, de tal modo que los conductos están expuestos solamente a activación tolerable cuando el reactor funciona, y a radiación gamma tolerable cuando el reactor permanece inactivo.
