Abstract

La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para el funcionamiento de un calentador de agua, en particular de un calentador de agua de gas, así como a un calentador de agua para su uso en el procedimiento de acuerdo con la invención. A este respecto se calcula un grosor de capa de cal sobre una superficie de un intercambiador de calor del calentador de agua a base de parámetros específicos del sistema y parámetros específicos del agua. Así mismo puede estar previsto que se calcula y representa un instante de mantenimiento o un intervalo de mantenimiento y/o se emite una señal acústica. Mediante el procedimiento de acuerdo con la invención se garantiza que se alcancen medidas de descalcificación, de modo que está garantizado un funcionamiento rentable y energéticamente eficiente, sin fallos de forma duradera del calentador de agua.
