Abstract
Process of generation of drinking water and tidal electrical energy that, using the variation of the tides, produces electricity and/or potable water. At high tide, a valve opens that fills an empty container and whose flow is used to move a turbine that generates electricity. Once the container is full, it is locked and awaits the arrival of low tide, allowing the container to go down to a piston that compresses a volume of water confined in a cylinder and passes to a smaller section to increase the pressure to pass through an osmotic membrane to generate drinking water by reverse osmosis. The water is then emptied from the container by gravity by moving miniturbines in the opposite direction to the filling.
