Procedimiento de recuperación de gas, por separación del ácido fluorhídrico de una mezcla gaseosa, caracterizándose porque la referida mezcla que contiene menos de uno por ciento en volumen de ácido fluorhídrico, se pone en contacto, a temperatura inferior a 650º C. con alumina activada de superficie especifica superior a 150 m²/g.
